“This review is not just about Claremont, but its sister community Highland Park & the larger company Price Brothers. After having spent many decades as a homeowner, I found myself going back into the apartment scene. Needless to say, I kind of felt like a fish out of water. Though I readily admit to asking my share of stupid questions, the apartment landscape has changed quite a bit over the years. I first landed at Highland Park, which I knew would be temporary/short term. The staff there was very helpful in navigating the ins & outs, particularly Kenidy & Hunter & manager Shelby. Because the unit was older, I had a number of maintenance issues, but in all cases the response was virtually immediate & the staff experienced, competent & friendly; kudos to Matthew, Tyler & Newton. What I noticed right away was that the primary objective was getting it right not just band-aided. That is a corporate reflection — hire the people who can do the job & let them do it. In looking for a new place, I decided to try & stay within the company (which wasn’t too difficult as PB seems to have the market cornered, so to speak). Claremont was my choice & based on my interactions with Mallory, Sean, Addison & maintenance staff Eric & Jeremiah & Marcus, I will continue to enjoy the same level of resident service & commitment I enjoyed at Highland Park. However, it was not just the number or location of PB apartments to choose from but the demographics, so to speak. While young(er) people make up I am sure the bulk of their clientele, it is obvious that PB has a focus on the senior element with 55+ only communities & attention to detail. While Claremont doesn’t have age restrictions, there is a strong senior element which generally translates long term tenants, since moving is a you-know-what. I know apartments are everywhere & too often the shiny new object gets all the attention, but like the saying goes ‘all that glitters isn’t gold’.”

“As a person who has rented for almost 40 years and lived in several states, I have truly felt at “home” here. I LOVED the convenience of my underground parking right by the elevator. I was also Blessed enough to get the end of the building unit, so it was extra quiet. The landscaping is great and having an indoor and outdoor pool is AMAZING! The renovations on the buildings looks great, just need to update the kitchens. The staff/maintenance were the friendliest/quickest response I’ve ever had. The staff has little celebrations for the residents every month! They came whenever I had an issue and quickly repaired it. (Only a few Issues). The front door entrance with call in always made me feel safe and I met a lot of nice neighbors. The low deposit helped choose them and decent rent prices made me stay for 2 years. I’m only moving due to getting a house. Don’t think twice, GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME!!”

“Well, where to start. I've lived in apartments in three states for over 30 years.. This place was the nicest and the best. I have a lot of respect for the management and maintenance department. They have always been there for me. I will miss them when I move. Now for those of you who are skeptical, I'm not saying it's perfect. It's not the house you've live in for 10-20 years, it's an apartment and apartment living is different from living in a home you own. In your house you were in control of all aspects of your space, in an apartment it will be a corporate entity that will be calling the shots in many cases, NOT the onsite management. Don't blame them for things beyond their control. And don't blame maintenance for things that aren't' done immediately. There are over 400 apartments in this complex and they can't jump and say how high every time you have a problem. If you have an issue that needs taken care of, for goodness sake fill out a maintenance request instead of calling the office and hoping they will do it for you. That's not fair. The management staff isn't there to put in maintenance requests for you. And for goodness sake take care of your apartment. Don't be a slob. Obey the rules and you and all those working here will have a positive relationship. My father always said, if you are nice to people they will be nice to you. Remember that.”
